Just curious who all applied for the Health Professionals Scholarship Program for the VA and if you've heard anything yet. I know it's early...mine is still shown as "received." Also, anyone that has done it or is in it that wouldn't mind sharing their thoughts on their experience. Thanks!

He said that they are not finished reviewing the nursing applicants yet but he hopes they will be done and will notify by the end of the week

He didn't say one way or another. Hopefully we will all be notified either way

Yeah I've been checking email and regular mail faithfully since last week. No word as to if everyone will be notified. Didn't think to ask. Praying for everyone on here that we qualified and receive it!

We've all made calls or emails to Scott Dixon. They are playing the military game called "Hurry up and wait." Patience is definitely a virtue!

When I emailed Scott a while back he said that if you were awarded the scholarship you would be called directly and if not you would be sent an email....I have been anxiously awaiting as well. So happy I found this chat.

I have applied for it too and was told the selection will be made by the middle of June. I have not heard anything yet either.

I think decisions have been made. I emailed Scott and he gave me the committee's feedback on my application (basically letting you know if you got it or not). Unfortunately it's a no for me. This decision round was for the HPSP Nursing (general) one though; the HPSP Nursing VA Partnership is still open and we should hear back the end of this week, or so I've heard
