Just curious who all applied for the Health Professionals Scholarship Program for the VA and if you've heard anything yet. I know it's early...mine is still shown as "received." Also, anyone that has done it or is in it that wouldn't mind sharing their thoughts on their experience. Thanks!
I was notified that they are not choosing anyone for the graduating class of 2020 due to a lack of immediately available funds. =( They are going to keep our applications on file and review in October for funds starting potentially in January - of course still depending on what funds are available. So if your graduation date was in 2020, that is why!
I found out back in May that I was a non-select. I am re-applying for the start of the next fiscal year. The board is in Sept and my recruiter told me I should expect to hear back in Oct. My recruiter told me I received 9/10 marks from both interviewers, but the phone interviewer told me I needed a little more experience and did not recommend me for the board in May because of it. How did your phone interview go? I am going to the DNP-FNP HPSP scholarship and REALLY want to get selected. Any tips or tricks on what you said or did to get accepted? I will only have about 5 months of ER RN experience.
