  1. Another update. Everything complete, spoke with HR the other day and they essentially allowed me to pick my start date, awaiting on final determination of pay. Should be starting within the next several weeks! its been less than 2 months since the interview.
  2. Update Finished credentialing today, took less than 2 weeks. Just waiting for EQUIP/Background, which I don't think will be too much of a hurdle due to the fact I held multiple security clearances with the US Government and its the same system, so it will just be an update, I hope. Its been just over a month since I interviewed.
  3. Hello everyone, I am currently going through the VA hiring process and in the credentialing phase. Has anyone run into issues during credentialing process? If so, what were they and how were they fixed?
  4. It’s a tough but doable program. And so far worth the time, effort and money. I feel the professions and administrators genuinely want to help you succeed. As with any program you get out of it what you out into it.
  5. I decided to decline (mandatory orientation fell on some very important and un-moveable dates for me) and went with another school that I was accepted too. (George Washington). Good luck everyone!
  6. I applied and was accepted for the fall 2019 part time MSN-FNP program. Who else has applied? Who else has been accepted? For graduates of the program; Any tips or sage advice?
  7. Not sure when the deadline is, I know when I accepted this last fall the deadline to submit your deposit was 15 March 2019. I'm sure that's variable depending on when you accepted the offer. I know on the GWU website they will offer some assistance in finding clinical placements, but highly encourage students to do so themselves. I'm fortunate to live in an extremely large metro area so I hope there wont be any issues there.
  8. Great! The programs are both great from what I understand, but what I love is that GW is asynchronous classes, that really helps with family and work.
  9. Hello! Are all the floors at the LA area VA's run 3x12 hour shifts one week then 3x12+8 the next week? Thanks!
  10. I was also accepted into the program and would love some feedback from current or past students! Mluer001, do you plan on doing full or part time?
  11. Hello! I found out last week that I was accepted to the MSN-FNP! So very exciting.
  12. Hello! I recently applied to the latest TTP opening (Nov 2018), did anyone else apply? For those of you who have been through this process about how long was it from application to calls for interviews? I have yet to hear anything, granted its only been a week since the job closed. The usajobs.gov job announcement stated they are looking to start Jan/Feb, however, knowing how slow the federal government is that seems unlikely.
  13. Fingers crossed that we hear something today!!
  14. Thank you! Did he say everyone would be notified, regardless of outcome?
  15. Anyone heard anything yet? I'm getting pretty anxious.
