  1. Hi everyone! I am an RN on a general pediatric inpatient unit. Our primary patient population is oncology and BMT. We do have a diverse set of patients with a wide range of acuity. I am currently working on a project to create a acuity tool that assists with creating equitable patient assignments. Does anyone have any tool I can reference? It would be much appreciated! Thanks!! ?

  3. Awesome. I plan on doing part time! Have you heard of any differences between this program and GU?
  4. I was recently accepted into the FNP program at GW and wanted to know if I could have feedback from anyone in this program or who has completed this program?
  5. Hello, I am also curious about the time frame to get a temporary practice license for WA. Were you able to find out?
  6. Recently I had my first med error that went through my hospital's Just Culture. The error was that I missed a leukemic patients dose of prednisone. This was apart of the patient's oncology treatment. Today my clinical manager informed me that outcome of Just Culture was that I be written up. I She further reviewed the unit policy of missing a medication. I feel terrible about this whole situation. I worry for my patients and I want to do well as an RN. I've reached a year of RN experience and was just starting to feel confident. Just seeing if anyone has insight on this situation and how big impact a right up will have on my career. How will this effect getting hired later on?
