I took NCLEX on the 29th or March. I passed, thank goodness! And I thought I must have failed the exam b/c I didn't think it was terribly difficult. I didn't get a ton of SATA and I didn't have any math. I'm not saying it was easy, but it wasn't the nightmare I thought it would be. I actually knew a lot of the questions.
So I'm curious if the new NCLEX is really much harder. Any one think the April NCLEX was crazy hard?

I took the Nclex on April 1st for the first time and passed. I feel the exact same way you explained. The majority of my test was composed of SATA's and priority questions. I almost cried when the screen shut me off at around 90 questions as I thought this can't be the end of my test. I expected a very difficult test, and honestly it wasn't too bad. And yes as you said, The Nclex wasn't easy in any way, but it was no nightmare.

Well, any way you look at it, people still have to be prepared. There's no more old test now, so really no use in being concerned. Those who could have tested earlier and didn't may have to put some more work into their study now.
Yes, of course RN's grads must be prepared and study harder. There is no doubting that. But if I could share my experience, I would say don't rely on the fact that the test has changed or might be slightly harder. I was so nervous on my test date just b/c of that fact. So for future test-takers, don't be discouraged and just know that a few more hours of studying has to put in. I studied a long time before I took the test.
