  1. Yes, of course RN's grads must be prepared and study harder. There is no doubting that. But if I could share my experience, I would say don't rely on the fact that the test has changed or might be slightly harder. I was so nervous on my test date just b/c of that fact. So for future test-takers, don't be discouraged and just know that a few more hours of studying has to put in. I studied a long time before I took the test.
  2. I took the Nclex on April 1st for the first time and passed. I feel the exact same way you explained. The majority of my test was composed of SATA's and priority questions. I almost cried when the screen shut me off at around 90 questions as I thought this can't be the end of my test. I expected a very difficult test, and honestly it wasn't too bad. And yes as you said, The Nclex wasn't easy in any way, but it was no nightmare.
