Aren't you just a little concerned and/or nervous? I am. :chair:
Is your facility very secure? :uhoh21:

No, I am not worried about it, the VA Medical Centers are some of the best guarded hospitals around. Not to mention there were no credible threats just chatter, probably intended to mislead their true targets.

From my perspective, our campus Police Force is pretty strong and there are a lot of security measures that are taken as risk and threat levels increase. During the 4th of July holiday, the entire holiday weekend, we under threat precautions and the security was immense. I know that during the time I worked with the VA - I felt very safe.

Plus, those of us who have taken care of elderly vets know: I'll put one of our tough-as-nails fellas up against the best those terrorists have got - Al Queda doesn't know who they're messing with! :)

:chuckle I use to work at the VA hospital in Seattle. You are so right Nurse Ratched! Al Queda doesn't stand a chance against our veterans!
We have 80 y o veterans who don't move very fast , but the ones in those motorized w/c's certainly do. If you strap an UZI on those w/c's the vets could probably do some real damage to Al Queda.
