Well, I just started Weight Watchers online yesterday. I'm so nervous and afraid of failure. I gained a whopping 50 lbs during nursing school, and Im soo desperate to loose the weight.

I have done a search here for anybody on weight watchers, but there is nothing current. Has anybody tried WW and had any luck? Please share your stories because I need support!

Help!

Cyndie, you'll get lots of support on the Healthier Living thread:

Here's the link. It's also a sticky at the top of this forum:

P.S. You don't have to read the whole thing; just read the last page or two and jump right in.

I usually don't break from my work out regimes even during the Holidays, and so far, knock on wood - I haven't had much of a problem. I'm a runner, so one of the things I had to do eventually was get a gym membership with a walking/running track during the winter after a nasty slip I had on black ice around campus last year. Fell right on my butt!

I do indulge in Christmas sweets. Typically without guilt. But it helps that I'm a vegetarian during the meal portions.

If you become devoted to working out and develop strong routines - you'll find it easier, I believe, to bust into a tray of chocolates knowing you have the dedication to also do your work.

I understand that everyone's different, body and mind, but it's the only advice I can give since it's what I do? And so far, it's worked for me.

I was a stress eater, but not any more, because losing weight is more difficult than eating. That's why I can stay in shape now.
