How soon after test for the PVT? Which McDonald's?

I'm testing on Friday. I'm assuming all McDonald's have free WiFi.

Should I:

1. Bring my computer with me and try the PVT at a random McDonald's close to the testing center immediately?

2. Bring my computer with me and stop at a random McDonald's 20 minutes into my 45 min drive home and do the PVT there?

3. Leave my computer at home and do the PVT at home?

How long after the test does the PVT work?

Go home and check your state's website for the official results. Good luck.

It would probably be better if you check it out at home. According to posts I've read here, before the PVT works, it should say "delivery successful" in pearsonvue website.

I checked PVT as soon as I got home. I did not get the regular "good pop-up" at first.....I got the one you got. Later, I checked again and got the good pop-up! :D BTW, my official results are in.... I passed!

Took about 2 hours after the test until the PVT trick worked. It was about a 40 minute trip home (and I stopped for frozen yogurt on the way!) but still took a good few hours to show up. And the official pass results took another couple weeks.
