Obviously, eveyone was thrilled, I assume! But, I thought it would be fun to tell our stories of how we got to this point ... I got my letter today(August 2nd). My heart was pounding as I opened the mailbox and then I saw a big brown envelope and tore into it! I started crying and shaking and ran into my dads and my family started cheering for me. It was awesome ! Some people may think I overreacted, but basically this is a long time coming for me. I dropped out of school in the 8th grade due to major family/emotional issues and was told I would never go back to school ! I didn't even get a GED til I was 19. I started a community college the same year, and 2 years later enrolled into my nursing school for pre-requisites, and here I am four years later, at 24 years old. It's an amazing feeling to come this far ! Sorry to ramble, but thought I would share my story =)
I actually got a phone call(and a letter a few days later).
I wa in the car with my husband,My phone rang, I had no idea who the caller was and almost didn't answer(I had my interview that morning and knew they didnt' call you that fast). But I aswered, and I heard Hana? I said yes. "I just wanted to let you know, you ahve been accepted to the School of Nursing." I almost dropped teh phone. I got off the phone, looked at my husband and asked him how he would like to have a nurse for a wife?! We both cried and screamed...its been a journey adn it finally happened!

Butterfly kisses, Wow, what a story! I'm so happy for you, you are finally able to pursue NS after all that... Congratulations!:) Best of luck!
I found out like 3 days after I did the admissions test into my program, the word "Accepted" appeared in my profily on my application, When I saw it I started screaming (scared my mom, lol) I was jumping and screaming, I couldn't believe I was seeing it! Then when I calmed down a bit I was suspicious that I got the answer to fast (they said it might take up to a month...) so I though what if it's a glitch or a mistake, I logged out, logged back in, and it was still there... I was still a bit surprised, happy but not 100% sure it was official, then a couple of days later I got the official paper letter congratulating me... turns out I was like the second person in my prereq's class (out of those that applied to that college) to get the acceptance letter! I was so surprised! I was also really relieved that I didn't have to wait long, it would have been such a torture.. . I was so happy I got in, me and my family ordered pizza and celebrated!
Now I've registered for all the classes and NS starts in 28 days...and I'm so anxious and nervous, I'm kinda freaking out...
