I actually just graduate with my BSN degree this past Saturday. I come here to ask those who have already successfully passed NCLEX how should I prepare for it. My school wants us to take Virtual ATI, however, this program does not teach you how to answer questions. All it does is ask you questions making sure that you indeed know the content. I feel confident in my knowledge base and know that I need help when it comes to eliminating answer choices. So, if any of you have any suggestion on how I should prepare for the NCLEX I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Know the root words of drugs. For example, catapril: any drug ending with "pril" is a drug to lower blood pressure. Studying root words helped me soo much because even though I may not know exactly what the drug was, knowing what the root meant gave me a clue.
GOOD LUCK!

If you are pretty confident with your knowledge then you should practice and practice a lot of questions. Around 100 questions/day will be good. Few days before your exam, try to relax like having a massage, watch some movies, etc. Good luck!!

There are many threads in the NCLEX forum concerning strategies to prepare for NCLEX. Most of them recommend the same tips, the foremost one being to do as many NCLEX style questions as possible and study the rationales. Good luck.
