How to pay NMC application fee for overseas nurses

currently waiting for my decision letter... maybe coming this week or next week. I am starting to feel pressured. I went to greenfields yesterday and they told me they already met the quota for UK as of july 2010 and MAYBE would open again on April.

does anyone know of other agencies thay have current job postings for UK?

Hi a_muse07, i've also tried greenfields, what status are you in now their agency now? have they sent you the med computation, the agreement/contract, and the like thru email? Any updates on greenfields? Thank you!

hi anna potter,

are you with greenfields too??? I've already signed their agreement/contract and did the med computation last august, just waiting for the interview, yet since the UKBA is having some amendments re their immigration policies, they told me to wait until april for the new rules... so sad but true.

ypup, i also did the med computations and signed their contract. the only email i've received from them was to wait for the employer's assessment. how bout you?after you emailed them the computations and stuff, what was their next reply after that? Thank you!

i did everything the asked me to do, sent everything by courier... I emailed and they told me to finish processing the NMC application. I didn't hear from them after. so i went to their office in ermita. really need to wait till april.

same story with asc global.

totally depressing.

@anna potter, same with your case... after the contract/agreement and med.computations, they've asked me to just wait for employer's assessment and interview... I've emailed them last week and told them i already have my decision letter and what they told me was to send the front and back copy of the decision letter, after which I've never heard from them again.

hi! im done with my nmc pack2. I already sent the PRC verification thru IEMS. however, I would like to clarify because a previous member posted that she sent her application form together with the documents from the school and from the employer to save on shipping costs.

anyone sent their form along with the school and referee forms? and I had these docs notarized for PACK 2.

1. birth certificate

2. passport

3. elem and HS diploma

4. College diploma

5. Board certificate.

Am I missing any? Thank you in advance!

Hi everyone. I am starting this daunting task of applying for the NMC. First pack is yet to arrive. My question is, do tertiary hospital volunteer work have any weight in NMC's approval. Also, I am now working in a corporation as a company nurse for more than a year. Can I use that as referral or do they require hospital experience? Thanks. So far, I have learned so much from this thread.

your experience as a company nurse is fine with the NMC. they don't specifically require a hospital experience. they require any employment as long as you function as a registered nurse since nursing has a vast field of subspecialties.

the problem will be finding an employer. even if NMC approves your application, your prospective employer would see that you have more experience as a company nurse than as a nurse in a hospital.

No need for the gradeschool and highschool diplomas. I got approved with me only submitting my BSN diploma.
