I'm just wondering, it could be for LPN or RN, how old you were when you completed nursing school. Thank you!

I just finished (direct entry Masters) this past December. I am 27, soon to be 28.

Before that I worked in genetic research (previous degree was in Biology). Wasnt for me, and started my nursing program in 2009.

I will be 32 when I graduate with my BSN.

I graduated with my BSN when I was 24 :)

second career; accelerated BSN-RN: 40. Est. MSN 45

Second career for me- graduated at 31 with my ADN......BSN is going to be a lot slower Est. grad 2014 (one class at a time) if I start in 18 months. Mayyyyyybe I'll do an RN-> MSN program with a similar timeline. Once I figure out what I want that MSN to be in.

29. I graduated from a 1 year accelerated BSN program.

When I first decided to go to school for nursing my goal was to be a nurse by the time I was 30, and I made it!

Wow! Thank you to everyone who responded to my post. Very inspiring, every single one of you!! I'm 33, and I will be starting my pre req's very soon!

I was 22 when I finished LPN school. I saved up for school and payed for it with no financial aid and no student loans :-)

That's awesome. Those monthly loan bills honestly kill me. I wish I could find another part time or even a casual job to start paying it off. I sometimes think about working at walmart or some groccery store....

24....and although I think that had I learned of my passion for nursing at an earlier age, I don't think I would have been mature enough fresh out of high school...I am glad that I finished a BA in Psychology and a couple of Minors and then took the accelerated BSN route :)
