How much do you make? Feeling under paid :(

Nurses LPN/LVN

I was curious to know what type of nursing you all do and what it pays in your area? I've been looking at other positions (home health, hospitals, and doctors offices) but I don't know what fair pay is. Several of the home health agencies by me pay $15/hr with no benefits!

Specializes in LTC, HH, and Case Mangement.

I am an LPN in Dayton, Oh. I have 2 jobs. My LTC job which I have been at for about 3.5 years pays $17.75 an hour. I also work a homecare job and get paid $28 per visit. I will probably quit my LTC job since the other pays waay more and I am building a pretty decent patient load. I have only been there a few months.

Specializes in psych,mental health.

I actually got a Job this morning as a graduate Nurse!! in silver spring, M.D., ltc they offered 20.91 as a gn. And then it'll increase to 22 once I pass boards!! Wanted a little but more. But this is a start!!

Btwn $26-$33 per diem, independant contracting in PA(Philly areas and surrounding areas)

LTC and Rehabs paying the most for agency

Peds Home Health around $22-$26

The money is OK, if u are willing to work very hard you can make it!

Specializes in Sub acute transitional care.

I work a school District in CA. I make $26/hr. By next year I should be making $30/hr.

Here in Ohio, I make $19/hour. I still have benefits through my parents so I don't pay those. However, PRN I made $21/hour. I work in Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility

I really need to move. I live in Oklahoma and I am making $11.66 as a new LPN. Not nearly enough to get by on so I am looking for a second job. *sigh*

Wth. You can not be serious. I made more than that as a rehab aide.

I work in LTC in Wisconsin and make 25.00/hr. The only benefit I get is PTO, no health insurance, which is okay for me because i'm under my husbands plan. I'm a new LPN, just graduated this past May so I consider myself very fortunate.

$17.75 after differential. East tn, low cost of living in my area.
