How much was your lpn program?

Published

Even though I know my program was highly over priced reading these threads makes me feel like I paid more than most people do. My program was $28,000 and I graduated in 2010. How much was your program and what year did you graduate?

My program was 3,300 for 1 year program tuition in Tennessee. Everything added on, a little over 5,000. I can't even comprehend paying over 10,000 for an LPN. For that money, I could get my BSN at a state school.

I'm going to pay about $7,500 for tuition, books & uniforms. I graduated Dec. 2014.

Specializes in Pediatric.

$30,000 and I regret every overpriced penny of it. (The school.)

I'm thinking about jumping on a program that's about $22, 000 all inclusive should I run away and go to a tech school that costs $5k and pray I get in? The local CC has a long wait list and I'm 26 not get any younger. I want to get my career started. My goal is bridge to lpn to rn bsn which I know will be less expensive. Any one have any suggestions? Anyone went my route?

I went the tech school route. Financial aid Paid for it. All i paid for was books and uniforms. School cost $5500. I know someone who paid $23,000. I thought she was lying because that price sounded so ridiculous to me.

I plan on bridging next year. I graduate next month. So far, I've found 2 programs that do the bridge and costs about $7000. Good luck!

SoCal resident here and I went to a private college.

Tuition for my LVN course was $25,000

Books and supplies were an extra $5,000

But I did get financial aid that subtracted a good amount from those fees.

Anyone else in SoCal pay too much for their education?

Yes the Tech route is ideal if i dont make it in ill have to wait another couple of months for the next start date. I have to do a PT program becuz I work full time and have a 5month old son those programs are I think in mar and oct the tech school is also further from my house . The higher cost school is enrolling for January and then again in april for a PT program and is 20 mins away. They have fed aid. So I can get the grants and then finish with the federal loans. Ugghh decision decisions lol. I just want to start!

mine was $30,000 but I ended up paying $19,500

I just graduated from Niagara College and owe 27000. I didn't work at all.

2500 including tuition, books, uniforms. 2012 graduate

15,000 I had a 4,000 scholarship so 11,000 but probably 12,000 after books and mileage.

I paid $ roughly 8,000 out of pocket and had gotten 4,000 in grants so the overall cost was $12,000 i graduated july 2013. NCC school of practical nursing in newark NJ.
