I am just curious. I am 37 and will be taking my last pre-req in January for the nursing program at my local community college. I have noticed many people here are over 30, so I wanted to just blurt out the question. How many of us 30 somethings are making a career change into Nursing?
I'm 37 and making a career change, but I still work in an office for now.
ME ! I'm 37 and making a total career change. I worked in an office, then was a stay at home mom for my children, then became a real estate agent, now going back to school for nursing.I start A&P I this coming Wed. The nursing program at my community college doesn't begin until Sept. 08 so it will be a while for me.......
I graduated college in 1993 so it should be interesting going back to school again...........

I'm 37 as well and making a total career change. I work in an office now and am hoping to quit when I officially start NS (which I'm hoping is Sept. 08). I have 1 course that I need to take before I can actually begin NS so I'm hoping to take it this Spring semester (provided I can get into the night section since I currently work during the day).

I'm 36 years old and have 5 pre-reqs left, I will be applying to the ABSN program before I retire from the military, when I retire I will probably be 48 or 50, with the medical advances today I guess 48 or 50 is young lol
