How Many is Too Many

Ok, I heard about this on "The View" this morning and it got me thinking. A family in Arkansas is expecting their 16th child. Picture of Mum and children getting some sort of award. Then I remembered seeing the family on one of those Baby Story type shows. They were following the pregnancy and talking about the fun family times (like going to a restaurant on kids eat free night -- the restaurant has since limited the number of kids per adult).

I remember looking after a woman who had just delivered her 10th child. Anybody else see this as a trend or does it just depend on the area?

And NOW-----Homeschooling kids is a sure sign someone has a narcissistic disorder?

wow now I have indeed heard it all.....

Well I don't have a lot of kids (2, but I wish I had one more)--- but I do homeschool, and dangit, I think that is about as UN-narcissistic as it gets. Where is the "me" time when I care for my kids 24-7????

Folks, we need to think before we type things. I get the feeling just because we are not speaking face-to-face, some of us think we can get away with being rude, mean, and deliberately disruptive. It may be time for a time out. I'll close the thread, discuss w/other moderators. I know I'll hear from those of you who aren't through discussing this issue. We'll take that into consideration. If it gets re-opened (stranger things have happened), it will be closely monitored.
