Really? The right wing extremists are currently engaged in trying to overthrow our federal government, install a tyrannt as president, and are threatening violence across the country if they don't get their way. White supremacists (right wing) are emboldened and aggressively intimidating communities across the country in Trump's name.  They are trying to instigate another civil war over their racist nonsense.  It would appear that we have a very active network of radicalization for white conservative men.

I am wondering what you are reading or listening to that is making you concerned about left wing extremists at this particular point in our history.  Protesting police brutality is not equivalent to storming the Capitol to overturn an election.

Yes, really..Like Hunter Biden and his laptop, like the BLM protestors who burned and ripped of the "Miracle Mile" in Chicago, like the protests who took of Portland (and some are still there). Protesting police brutality is not looting stores, setting police vehicles on fire, throwing bottles of urine at police while they try to protect people and businesses where these "peaceful protests" where taking place. I am wondering what you are watching if you are not able to see both sides. If you haven't seen what happened in Atlanta or Chicago with the protesting of police I encourage you to Google the incidents and watch. It was far from a simply protest.

As far as the Capitol, absolutely those people should be held accountable and it sounds like the FBI is working on doing just that. There were also BLM and Qanon people there dressed as Trump supporters to incite the situation further. Yes, there are some racist's that support Trump, just as there are that support Biden, but to lump everyone that supports a candidate into that category makes no sense and is far from helpful in healing the divide this country is facing.

Hunter Biden and his laptop are not inciting violence anywhere against our republic (I literally chuckled to read it in your comment).  It is interesting that you perceive him as an example of left wing extremism.  In reality, your "concern" stems from your personal consumption and belief of right wing propaganda.

None of the protests across the country last year that you mention were orchestrated and incited by politicians trying to seize power by over throwing congress and the EC vote.  Not one. None of them would qualify as insurrection...well except maybe a Trump sychophant might make that case but ...

Quite a notable number of the individuals arrested, across the country, for violence and property destruction at those protests were, in fact, other groups engaged in "accelerationism". Their goal is to accelerate tensions and violence between police and people of color...to stoke a civil war.

Riots, white supremacy, and acceleraccelerationism

There is exactly zero evidence that there were BLM people involved in that coup attempt, but that notion is floating freely among Trump supporters. Believing things without evidence is necessary to support Trump...it's like a new religion.

I was a member of SNCC in California. My one page FBI file is a black and white photo of me and my Grandma protesting in front of a real estate sign that read, "FOR SALE TO WHITE CHRISTIANS ONLY". We were with the SCLC. Young men threw eggs and tomatoes at us as they drove by:  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1964_California_Proposition_14

I have protested for civil rights and for healthcare, but NOT at night. I can't remember protesters starting violence, but other people seem to show up after dark and start throwing things at police and fighting. Remembering decades of such violence it seems after midnight is the most dangerous.

When the Viet Nam War protests were happening I had 2 kids and cared for four other toddlers while their parents worked. I wrote letters, but didn't protest.

Then came years of working and rallying & marching for improved access to healthcare and for safe staffing. In the daytime.
