hi guys how many take can i sit with local board exam of nursing n the philippines?

..no limit.... for as long as you can carry on... after all, passing NLE is the ONLY way out before we could ever start working as a nurse...

It used to be 3 takes before but with the new nursing law, they changed it to as many take as you can...

I think the lawmakers should make it a 3-take only exam just like what they did many years ago. It will surely help the Philippines to screen its nurses.
I know someone who took her 5 tries until she passed the boards. :'-(
it is stated in republic act 9173,phil.nursing act of 2002,rule 3,section 15.ratings-in order to pass the examination,the ff. shall be fully complied with:
a.an examinee must obtain a gen.average of atleast 75'/.or higher with a rating of not below 60'/. in any subject.
b.any examinee who obtained an average rating of 75'/. or higher but with a rating of below 60'/. in any subject shall be required to take the examination again but only on subjects where she/he is rated below 60'/..however in order to pass the succeeding examination,she/he must obtain a rating of atleast 75'/. in the subject/subjects repeated.
c.removal examination shall be taken w/n 2 yrs after the last failed examination
