How common is it to take A&P I twice because the first time around you didn't get at least a C in order to be put on the nursing waitlist? I'm not sure if I will be passing this course this semeste(I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I pass with a C) and I'm wondering since A&P is such a hard course if students have taken it more than once in order to get that passing grade.
Also, would it be better to take this class at the school rather than an online course? Right now I am taking the online course and I am wondering if I would learn more if I had lectures to go to rather than just reading the chapters on my own, which is making it difficult at times to comprehend the material.
Any thoughts?
Thank you!!
Can you still withdaw without failing? It looks better on your transcript to withdraw than to have an F. Good luck!
I haven't failed anything yet, it's just that I am expecting the worst and if I do end up failing I wanted to find out how common it was to have to take the course again. I believe right now I have a low C average.
I didn't think they offered A&P I online that is new to me. I think it would be better to take A&P in a class room setting I feel that u will learn better. Plus with the lab and all. I think it would be harder to do on line. I took both my A&P I and II in a class room there is a lot of informaton to learn and there is a lot of time spent trying to grasp all that stuff. I'm glad I'm done with all of that but it will help u in the long run.

The online section of A&P I is the lecture part. The lab part actually occurs on Saturday afternoons for about two hours I go in and do the lab activities. I'm really struggling with both aspects because of lack of time to study due to job, kids, etc... I guess if I do end up having to retake it I will take it in the classroom and not online and see how I do.

WOW! It seems like some of you had horrible teachers! Our tests are hard, but the curve is huge so an A is pretty easily attainable if you study. If you make a 45/100, you can make a B on our grade scale. Good luck to all of you out there who are struggling! (Too bad my micro class won't have a grade scale like this one! :uhoh21: )
