  1. had to take a&p 1 over but it was a god send cuz my first time I got a 69.9 percent and wanted a C but retook it and got and 88% looks much better on my transcript now.
  2. i agree that ltc is prob the way to go for you!!
  3. I am as frustrated as you are!! I am a 29 year old mom who took the long way around and am very anxious to just get through all this hub-bub. I have finished all my pre-reqs (they call them pre-clinicals at my school) only to find out that I will more than likely not get accepted the first time I apply either. My school has over 400 applicants per semester with only 60 seats. Alot of those applicants I've been told are LPN's transitioning into the RN program, so the likelihood of them getting accepted first is at the top. That's not to mention that my stupid advisor knew that I am on a "timeline" and want to graduate to get into the work force so I can make some money...and did not tell me that I could have easily gotten my LPN cert before my RN and been working already!! THen I could take a couple classes to transition and make more!! AHHHHHHH I feel your pain.
  4. Hi all Just wanted an honest opinion on how difficult the TEAS test really is. I am hearing mixed messages from several of my peers. The RN program received my application and called me that day to advise me I have a week before the test. At my school you have to wait for their call which didn't give me much time. I hope someone can ease my fears. hopecandy
  5. I see how this can be funny to an "experienced" nurse but also very bewildering to a nursing student and/or a Grad nurse.
