Hi'ya!
So, how many campuses are you responsible for? Is there more than one nurse at your school or do you have an aide in the office?

1 school, almost 2,000 students, about 250 faculty and staff, and I have an LPN as an assistant. I am so lucky!!

One school, 2400 students. Just me in the clinic. Have an itinerant nurse who works for the exceptional students (special ed) about half time. And this year we have an LPN in the main office to off load the discipline issues that I had been previously stuck with.

2 part-time nurses, so 1 per day. 1 school, JK-12th, 1100 kids, plus a daycare (6weeks-4 years) that sometimes brings their children over.

I am in a unique position here. I am a new hire, new position for the district- RN case manager. I am the only one in the district, so I technically "oversee" 3500 kids in 11 schools. BUT, each of the schools has their own RN (the HS and one of the elementary schools has 2 RNs) and I only see kids if they are referred to me for case management. Our district does not use health aides- Massachusetts only allows RNs to work as school nurses. If a LPN were employed a RN would need to be on site to supervise.

I have 1 school, but it has 2 buildings, total of 400 students. I have a "main" office in the bigger building and a small (literally a closet) in the smaller building. Just one RN (me)!
