I was just wondering how many people were taking their pre-reqs for the nursing program.. I don't see a lot of people talking about that. I would love to know who like me is trudging through those classes this fall and winter. I would love to meet some friends that we will be going through similar classes. So I will tell you all a little bit about me then it is your turn. I am almost 37 years old a mother of two beautiful little girls ages 9 and 5 I am married and I will be finished with all of my pre-reqs this fall and winter. I am going to Wayne State University, hopefully I will be getting my Masters Degree eventually. In my spare time so we all know that means only when I am not in school, :chuckle My daughters and I go out riding our horses we each have one so we have a lot of fun. I am looking forward to getting back into school so that I am working towards the goals that I set for myself and my family. I would love to hear from you all lets set up a support team for each other.

I have one class left to take (chemistry) and then I will be taking the NET and getting on the waiting list at HFCC. I'm so excited and can't wait to start my Nursing classes (hopefully next fall)

I've been married for almost 8 years, a mother of two. My son is 6 and my daughter is 19 months and I just turned 30.

I'm also going to Baker (online student) for my Bachelors of Psychology degree. After I get my Nursing degree at HFCC we are moving to Las Vegas or California. I'd like to work in Labor and Delivery. :)

I am taking my pre-req's. I still need to CLEP out of Sociology and I am taking A&P2 this fall at OCC. I will apply to start OCC's program in 2009! :)

I only have Anatomy & Microbiology left for my pre-reqs, but the classes filled up everywhere;MCC, OCC, & SC4. I could take Anatomy at Baker, but it is very expensive. Has anyone taken Anatomy at Baker? How was it?

I took at A & P at Baker and it was fine. You obviously need to study, but I would up with an A in both 1 & 2

Have you tried Henry ford? it would probably be cheaper than baker. and they have both micro and anatomy

Some schools offer those classes online. You do the labs at your house. The materials are expensive, but at least you get the credit and the class over with. CCConline (colorado community college online) offers it.

I just looked and they have both open still.
