I heard there are 8 rights now.
Right Patient
Right Drug
Right Dosage
Right Time
Right Route
Right to Refuse
Right Documentation
Right Reason
When I started the program three weeks ago, I was told 6 rights, then 7 and now 8.

Hi.
5 Traditional rights:
right client
right drug
right dose
right time
right route
5 additional rights essential for professional nursing practice:
right documentation
right assessment
client's right to education
right evaluation
client's right to refuse
+1 - The right approach

There are also five rights of delegation. Or, are you just referring to the rights of medication administration?
