How many got SELECT ALL THAT APPLY QUESTION? pass or fail?

Published

Most of my friend who took the NCLEX with select all that apply question passed the exam. Just one mistake it will not considered right. Some of them got 10 questions and passed. Is this considered or indicate that you are doing good and reach the highest level of difficulty on the NCLEX Exam? I'm having a hard time having this type of question on the NCLEX.

I took the NCLEX PN yesterday and the test shut off at 85. By number 7 - I was on my 3rd select all that apply - and through the rest of the test - I had over 20!

Many were back to back!

That's cruel and inhumane! The rest were priority, dosage calculations (4 or 5) and regular questions. I only got two or three meds, and one was select all that apply!

I couldn't believe it.

I passed!

I passed!

Congrats

Thanks! I didn't think the results would be posted on a Saturday morning, but there it was!

And nobody to share the good news with - my husband is at work and I feel bad calling people this early!

One thing is for sure - that test was a beast. Even though I left feeling confident, over the two days I had to wait for the results - my confidence began slipping bit by bit. I started doubting everything.

Thank goodness it's over! I can't believe I am a nurse now!

hello guys. i took nclex last dec 4, 2007.. i had 75 questions. it may sound weird but i believe i may have had the most number of SATA questions given in an nclex test (out of 75 ques given) i had 12 SATA.. i really could not believe it. i seemed that every question thrown at me was SATA. i had 3 calculations and about 2 meds the rest were priority and delegation.. no herbs. after waiting for 48 agonizing hours i finally knew that i passed! May God bless all future nclex takers!

Your test sounds JUST like mine!!!!!

I took NCLEX yesterday. I started out feeling like I don't know anything, then after about 50 questions or so I started feeling just slightly more confident, and at 75 it promptly cut me off! I got an insane amount of "Select all that apply". I got so many that I was glad whenever I got a normal question for a change. I believe that easily one third out of the 75 was "select all that apply", if not more.

I felt pretty bad at first, but I guess if I would really have done so bad, it wouldn't have kept giving me those questions, but something easier. So I actually convinced myself that I passed :D

But I did wish that we had more parctice with "Select all" in nursing schools, or that at least we wouldn't have been told explicitely not to worry so much about it because only about 2 to 4 will be alternate format questions.

I just took the NCLEX this morning and have never seen so many select all that apply. I agree with the above poster, 1/3 of my questions easily. It shut off at 75 and I thought I would throw up! I had 2 calc questions and tons of priority, no delegation. I guess we'll see in 2 days!

19 out of 75 questions.

I could not believe it, I felt defeated pretty quickly.

But I passed!

I took my NCLEX this afternoon. I had 14 SATA, 4 calculations, and 4 Meds. My test stopped at 75 questions, I'll let u know how I do in 48 hours!
