Most of my friend who took the NCLEX with select all that apply question passed the exam. Just one mistake it will not considered right. Some of them got 10 questions and passed. Is this considered or indicate that you are doing good and reach the highest level of difficulty on the NCLEX Exam? I'm having a hard time having this type of question on the NCLEX.

i heard that with that type of question you have to have a least 75% of the answer right...i don't think if you miss one the whole question is wrong.
my guess is that with sata, if you get the first few right, you're good. if you don't you might get one or 2 more, and then you're written off. but with 12 q's as one of you got, you're either hella smart, or got a lot of the non-counting trial q's, or maybe both?
In school, I usually missed sata's 90% of the time...glad there's just a few!!!!
I took the NCLEX PN yesterday and the test shut off at 85. By number 7 - I was on my 3rd select all that apply - and through the rest of the test - I had over 20!
Many were back to back!
That's cruel and inhumane! The rest were priority, dosage calculations (4 or 5) and regular questions. I only got two or three meds, and one was select all that apply!
I couldn't believe it.
I have no idea how many SATA questions I had and I just tested on the 11th. What I do know is that everyone who takes the NCLEX has 15 questions that are being tested for future tests and do not count towards your "grade". Being that the computer has no idea when you begin the test how many question you will get before you finish....I am almost positive that the 15 question are loaded towards the beginning.
The NCLEX doesn't begin calculating your ability until you hit the 60 question mark....so, I think those 15 questions come all before that point.
No reason you can't get all 15 as SATA.
I had about 5-6 select all that apply questions, and to tell you the truth I am not sure if I got any of them correct. I am terrible at these type of questions. I had no calculation questions however I had a number of priority/delegations questions, and very surprising a great number of infection control questions. I passed with 75 questions.

I ended at 265 questions with only 3 SATA,2 Computations,5 meds and a little bit of everything, I passed...I really cannot come up with a best indicator so to say what is passing or failing question indicators.
