I was wondering if the home school where you would be doing on your nursing courses at, would frown upon a transcript that has numerous different schools credits transferred in?
I only have one school now, but I want to take Ant & Phy, Micro, Term, and Nutrition online and depending when they start and costs, etc...I may have 3 different schools!!
Anyone have multiple schools and if so how many?
Thanks!

If that were a problem then my school would have exploded when I applied. I had like 7 or 8 transcripts that I had to send starting back from 1984...ouch. Of course that only puts me at a distant second to Lunah's 50,000 credit hours on her transcripts!
They don't care. Really.
It only becomes a factor in that you must be organized enough to send any school that you are applying to all of your transcripts so there is no hold up on your application process.
Hope that helps,

Ha ha, smarty pants! I almost spit my coffee on the monitor when I read that. LOL!! 1984?! Wow. I'm kidding, I'm kidding ...
Seriously, Ivan's right, as usual ... they don't care, as long as the grades are good and the school is accredited!

In the community college district in the LA area, most people trying to get into nursing are forced to attend several schools if they want to get their prerequisites done. It is a matter of necessity due to the horrendous number of people taking the same courses. The important science classes fill up within the first 15 minutes that online registration opens. Just heard a woman say the other day that she has been going around to five different cc's to get her classes. A group of students were divising a plan of attack to try to add courses by going to four or five of the schools. They were making up a list of what would be available if the classes weren't already filled.

i'm up to twelve schools plus CLEPs for roughly 320 credit hours and counting all told (AA, ADN, BA, BSN, MSN/DNP in progress - and a graduate of the 'University of Parris Island' - but no credit hours for that :usmc: ). nobody cares as long as you get all of the transcripts in and you explain any odd-ball grades (ie young, drunk, and stupid - with the grades to prove it - before the Marines and summa cum laude, PTK & STT after).
