How many credits? I'd figure to do at least 12 a semester if you want to race through. You could ask the school, though...

This is a listing for a BSN degree and is therefore assumed to be 2 years/4 semesters long. The order you take the classes in will depend on prerequisites needed to move on to the next class, your schedule, and what types of classes you feel comfortable taking together. If the college offers summer classes you could probably get through these in 3 semesters + summer but it would be a lot of work.
Now personally, I would set myself up for 4 classes each semester and take the CNA course over the summer. When you are looking at how you want to set up your schedule consider whether you are comfortable taking multiple science courses each semester. If you can do 4 semesters than I would start with a layout of the science courses and take them in order but 1 each semester. Also, consider separating your maths and psychology/sociology so you don't have too much of the same thing in each semester. So my schedule would look like:
Sem I
Chem 1203
Eng 1101
Psyc 1101
Mat 1100
Sem II
Chem 1204
Eng 1102
Soc 1101
Nurs 2100
Sem III
Bio 1273
Bio 1259
Nurs 2200
Foreign Language
Sem IV
Bio 1274
Nurs 2201
Stat 1222
This is just an idea of what you can do. Not everybody does the college thing the same way. I took many general classes before I knew I wanted to go into nursing school and had to take nutrition, developmental psychology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology in one semester. I got through it but I'm sure it would have been easier if I could have mixed it up with some english and math courses. Good luck to you.

I've never seen a BSN that only takes 2 yrs. Most Bachelor's degrees are four years.
I'm sorry, I meant that these classes are meant to be taken in 2 years and then you can take the nursing courses which also take 2 years. Sorry if that was confusing.

are the NURS classes a pharm or patho class prior to the core nursing classes? and in Sem III is one of the Bio classes a lab? It would be easier if you put just the course name as the course numbers at the end vary from school to school so it's not easy to see exactly what classes you're planning to take

I was told yesterday when I went to register for Jan 09 to take my PRE REQS that it would take 3.5 years to finish the whole course. Nursing and Pre reqs not bad if you ask me considering I have waited 25 years to do this. I feel blessed to have gotten to where I am at. I am currently taking classes onm line till te=hen. I really hope and pray to make it.
What happened to the OP? Weird. Anyway, if you already have the general ed classes out of the way (say you have a BA already, or an AA), then the RN *can* be two years. Mine will be. The BSN, that's probably another semester or two, depending on what they require. I'm taking pathphys now to have whatever I can out of the way in case I decide to go for the bachelor's. I don't think there's much else I can cross off the list, sadly.
