How long it takes for the board to contact me after they receive my eligibility paper

Published

Hi

I just took my Hesi on Nov. 4 and passed it :yeah:, however i have not heard anything from the board about my nclex test. finally another student was able to get a hold of some one on the board and they told her that we are not going to hear anything from them until feb. 2010. On their website it says it usually take 4-8 weeks. Does any one know how long it takes? Please if you know the answer let me know. :sniff:

ps. Is there anything that i can do about it?

kristin did you get anything from the board before you registered? i called my school and they said they 've never heard of pearsonvue. i am going to pay the 200 by the end of december if i dont hear from the board.

i find it hard to believe that your school do not know or never heard of pearsonvue. pearsonvue is where you will take your nclex-pn.

if i were you, i would go to your school personally and speak to the director of the program. she should be able to explain to you what are the steps to take to get licensed.

the person on the other end of the line who told you s/he did not know what pearsonvue was might be the secretary or non-nurse staff. the director should be able to help as she herself is a nurse.

good luck!

No, my school told us to sign up with pearsonvue then the BON for the state. The state gives you your ATT and ok's you to test with pearsonvue. You should go talk to your school.... My school actually gave us a test to make sure that we knew the correct steps to register!!!!

wow my school sucks

Kristin YOU ARE AWSOME, i got my ATT, two days after I paid the 200 dollars, I am not taking my nclex on dec. 29 at 2:00pm. YOU AREEEEE GREAAAAAAAAAT!!!! I am the only person in my entire class that is taking their Nclex.
