How long does it take to receive RN license in NJ?

I am a Registered Nurse in Florida. I plan on moving from Florida to New Jersey this year. I registered tonight on the NJ BON website, so I could read the application procedure and requirements. I am just wondering how long this process takes? Does it only take a few weeks to receive a NJ RN license? Or does this whole process take several months?

This process didn't take me long in 2018! I applied 7/27 and was licensed by 8/31. I had my license in PA and endorsed it to NJ.

Many positive changes. There is even a temp license for select situations.

Did you submit all of the documents online or mail them in also? I have heard of people doing both online and mailing or just online. Trying to figure out the fastest way to get my endorsement as I am also applying from PA-->NJ. Thanks!

It's one or the other or you will get your account flagged for duplication. Online is preferred by the NJBoN and you can check status if you file online

Nothing has changed in NJ, I moved to NC last year and let my NJ license lapse. DONT EVER LET YOUR LICENSE LAPSE. I was never expecting to move back up here but hurricane Florence left us with only the clothes on our backs. The BON received my reinstatement info 4 weeks ago. Not in system, they are tired of my called twice a week. Just got off phone with them and I get told another story. They did escalate it to a supervisor and was told that will be another week before they see it. Going up there at this point would be useless since they dont have anything in their system. Im guessing another month.
