How long before I get my results?

Nursing Students NCLEX

Hi All!

It has been 5 weeks since I took the NCLEX-PN in California and have not gotten my results back yet! I am trying to be as patient as possible but this past week I have been nervous every evening when I got home from work only to have junk mail and catalogs waiting for me! The first 2 days after I took the test, I felt like I was going to lose my mind. I was freaking out and was wondering how I was going to keep myself together during the long waiting period I was going to face. Now, 5 weeks later, I feel like I am starting to go back to that emotional state. My fellow classmates have gotten theirs already so it is just me waiting now. Just thought I would get that out. Thanks ahead of time for reading this!

They should be processing from your date now, should not be much longer but we have been seeing it take up to six weeks or so at this time of year.

Best of luck to you.

Suzanne, am I still have hope after almost 2 weeks I've been waiting my name up on the BON web but never showed up. Is that possible you don't see your name until after you get your "PASSED" result?

I'm getting soo nervous about this. Thanks for your reply.

Good luck. I pray the best for both us. We will be RN for sure. :)

we're on the same boat..tomorrow will be the 5th week since i took the pn exam..im also waiting for my rn result..i took it last wed and stopped at 216...hope we all passed

Average wait time is ten days for the RN license. Can be up to a month or so. If you do not see your name up there in two weeks, then you need to contact them to make sure that your file is complete.

There is no way to see pass without having a license number issued; they do not post results.

Best of luck to you.

I took the NCLEX-PN on June 6th (6 and a half weeks ago!), and I still haven't heard anything, either.

I honestly don't understand what their system is for issuing results, as it seems that my classmates and I haven't received our results in the order that we took the test. For instance, one classmate of mine took her test on June 2 (4 days before me) and received her results (passing) on June 23. There is another classmate of mine who took his on June 16th and received his results (failing) at the beginning of July.

I'm beginning to think that my results were lost in the mail, but I can't get a hold of anyone at the BVNPT to confirm this (I've been calling all morning, and just get a busy signal).

Anyhow, I feel your pain. Very frustrating, isn't it?

It is frustrating. Well, I will let you know if I hear something. let me know if you hear something too.

Update: Got a call from my school. They asked me if I had gotten my results yet. I told them no and they told me to make sure I give them a call when I get them so that they can pay for my license. I was told that the school gets the results from the BON so I hope them calling me is a good thing. Anyway, still waiting!!!

I got my results today! I passed!!!!!!! I am so happy and relieved.:yeah:

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Congratulations!
