How long did you ahve to wait?

I just applied to the Nursing Program for a start in Jan. 2010.

I will be done with all pre-reqs and extra Fall 2009

How Long did you have to wait before you heard something bank? Acceptance or not.

You should check with the admissions people for a notification date. The schools usually provide approx. dates for when notification will occur.

I applied at two programs for Fall 2009 and have received word back from them before those actual dates.

I sent in my application early in January and I finally got my acceptance letter yesterday.:w00t: Four long months!

I applied in December 2008 for Fall 2009 admission and did not hear anything and it is May!!!! I've heard of some people that applied 2 days before the deadline and heard back from the school within a month or so.

The estimate they gave me was dead on, I waited 3 years for my acceptance and when I start in August it will be 3.5 years since I applied. When I applied back in March of 06 she told me it would be around Fall of 09 pretty good estimate.

If you are doing an associates program and plan on eventually doing a RN_ Bsn program, find out with some of the extra requirements will be and get those out of the way while you wait, or volunteer at the hospital or something to not just waist that time.

Ooops sorry, I misread your post, I thought you meant how long to wait to get in. Ignore my previous post then LOL My school was on a wait list system.

Applied in January..took the NET in February...interviewed in March...accepted in May..start in July!!!
