Hello Everyone

I am scheduled to take the exam the first week of March and I am freaking out wondering if I should change my date...I am ans questions every day and studying (while working). I know I can do this, but I keep doubting myself. Asking myself did I do enough? what if 's ? please give me some words of encouragement

BTW my scores are all over the place.

No matter what date you test you need to get in control of your thought processes and efforts. I would stick with the date you have chosen unless you really know in your heart of hearts that you haven't been giving it your full attention. Then only reschedule once, and get serious this time. You have to take it sooner or later, so you are doing yourself no favors by putting it off and then adding more days of ineffective study. Good luck.

I have decided to stick to my date....I have been doing much better on my scores and I feel much more confident. My anxiety has decreased alot but I am still a little nervous but in my heart of hearts I know I have put in last of sleepless nights of studying in and out of school its time for me to become that RN:D

thanks for the kind words :twocents:

i don't one can ever be ready for such an exam as the nclex. you will never feel that you studied enough. you just have to have faith and hope you did all that you could and praypray pray and have a good meal at least 3 days before the exam and good night rest.

My response is HOW YOU KNOW YOUR NOT READY. You will know it, you will have too much axiety and your test scores will show it.

I am doing Kaplan with a combo of Hogan and Saunders. At first I was doing really poorly in my review. Scoring less than 60s in my practice exam. I felt like I should be doing better, plus I was not finish with the whole Saunders book. I was suppose to take my test tomorrrow, but I knew I wasnt going to be ready. I am glad I changed the date. If you need more time, then be sure to change the date ASAP. I take mines in March 12, an extra 2 more weeks. I know I will be ready since my scores are getting higher now on my Qbank, Questions Trainers and chapter exams and I am feeling more confident. Good luck!
