How I passed NCLEX first time around! Easiest exam EVER!

OKay First of All congrats to getting to this point, we forget to pat ourselves on the back at times! I took Nclex 11/06/2010 and Today found out I PASSED! So I thought I would just share my story. First of all it helps If you went to a Good nursing school and knew the material not cheated your way through the program that made me angry when I found out people were doing but it paid off they can't pass boards. Anyways How to pass I used Hurst Review It really helped me cause you review what you learned in nursing school and it make not a light bulb go off but a whole power company come together its educational and funny! In nursing school you develop nursing school humor that friend outside nursing school don't really get but in nursing school its hilarious. Marlene is so funny when teaching it was like watching Stand up Comedy Nursing school edition so you laugh and it sticks with you. Other than that I did All nurses "RANDOM FACTS" Thread. It does take a while to go through but it really helped! I did over a 1000 Practice question and over came my fear of SATA! And Most of all I prayed! Not to pass but for God to give me the ability to apply the knowledge I've obtained in the past few years and just breath and stay clam! So Before the Exam I Told myself these things: Breath you did go to nursing school so its not like its new information, You don't have to make a 100 you just have to Save more ppl than you kill. Um ABCs, Safety, listen to the patient, Pick the killer answer" who will die first?" Who can do what, Don't delegate what you can EAT: Evaluate, Assess, or Teach! IF Sata use the True or false helped me. When Nclex day comes act like its the thousands of practice exams you already done it helped decrease my anxiety. Pray and Begin your exam! If I can help anyone would be more than happy too and Remember if you don't pass pick yourself up dust off and try again, you came this far you can do it! God has a plan for you! BEST WISHES TO ALL! i find sata hard please whta books helped you overcame your fears with sata im currently using kaplan and i dont think is helping me in that area

What an ANGEL you are are!! I am thrilled that you passed!!

I am "taking on the NCLEX lady", and I am not afraid!! Please say a prayer for me I will be sitting for my RN-Nclex January 18th, 2011 @ 8am!!

I can use all prayers to battle the devil, I pray the Lord calms me!!

Wow seems like I posted this forever ago Glad that I still can uplift people and bring hope to those who feel like Nclex is the worst test ever well it not! Its just another test like the billion you took to this point so don't let the anxiety and hype eat you up and thank you for removing neg post I didn't see them but when others don't successed it sometimes makes it easier to but other people down but if you don't pass its not the end of the world I know you can do this Nursing school was the hardest thing I've done between Clinicals exams class preceptors and cant forget studying I got 2 or three hours of sleep and had to do it again I was going clinicals 13 hours and then class all day I could only wish to see my beloved bed and I know you been there too so my point is if you made it through that if you made it through miss family events and special occassions and your at the point of Nclex a test you can sleep allday before if you need too actually have time to study and eat and you choose when and where you take it you have all control don't be scarred you got this! As for questions about SATA do as many as you can find I even found some online a practiced them. How to know you've studied enough before i took the exam I didn't even wanna look at my notes I could tell you it all I slept ate and dreamed nursing for four years but I went non stop for those three weeks and that weekend before GO OUT do something enjoy life! You know what type of studier you are and the goal of Nclex is save more than you kill after this test I'll tell you something about what I do I take care of ppl and you will to this test is just to prove you can do it without killing them you did this a thousand times before at clinical just breath and think it through!
