I took my HESI two weeks ago and got well over a 1,000 (or a 95% conversion score). I got my ATT yesterday and took a leap of faith and scheduled my NCLEX for tomorrow, YIKES!! I have done really well in my classes, getting nearly a 4.0. I just don't feel like I have studied enough but my family has faith in me that I will go fine, like I always seem to do. I have bursts of confidence, then times I feel like I should have given myself another week or so. I guess it'll all come out tomorrow!!
So how have some of you guys done on HESI/ATI in comparison to passing NCLEX??
I've heard most people say HESI is worse then NCLEX...
Also- has the "good pop up" NOT been right for any of you?! I am hoping it will work for me
22 hours and counting, wish me luck!!
I scored 1136 on the HESI. I didn't take any review courses but I did do a moderate number of practice questions with a phone app (don't remember which one - had a white cross on a red background for the icon) and with the Saunders review book/CD.
I was cut off at 75 questions after about 1.5 hrs. I had what seemed like an inordinate number of SATA, and didn't feel confident when I left, but logic said I couldn't have been bad *enough* to have failed in 75q.
I got the "good" pop-up a couple hours later, and then confirmation that I passed 48 hrs after the test. The TxBoN showed my license on the verification site about a week later.
Got at 95% on my HESI as well. Passed the first time...got the good pop up.
Didn't schedule as fast because I had to finish my required coursework, but studied for the NCLEX like it was another course, and used the NCSBN.
If you do well on tests, schedule it sooner rather than later...if you have test anxiety (like me) give yourself at least 4-6 weeks...review content, different types of questions, just to become comfortable with seeing adaptive questioning, and being not so anxious about choosing the best answer.
It sounds like OP is doing well...Congrats OP!!! & Good Luck to everyone!!
