How hard is the new NCLEX 2013 Test Plan

Published

Hi everyone,

To those who passed or failed in the new NCLEX this April, please share your thoughts and experience.

I heard a rumor that there is more SATA questions and less priority questions.

How true is this rumor ?

Hi. I took mine just this week and unfortunately failed. I had a lot of conference questions, around 5-6 SATA, 1 Drag and drop and some prioritations, no Math, some ECG and exhibits. Good luck on your exam! I think they didn't really change the exam format whatsover, I heard what they did was they raised the passing line, that's why it's a lot harder to pass the NCLEX nowadays.

me too i failed last year.

so you got more Priority questions than SATA ?

how many med questions ?

I did my NCLEX yesterday, 75 questions... and my feeling said almost everything was SATA, drop-in, hotspot, EKGstrips, with exhibits ,conference and priorities questions. NO math, many meds....

I have no idea how I did, but if I failed it was the style of the questions, because I knew the content.

Yes, more priority questions for me.. Med questions around 5, but so many conference and legal matters like living will and stuff..

What are conference questions

I've never heard of that too before I took the test but it's just basically like a seminar thing, what nurses agreed about in a conference, safety measures, procedures.. I think it's not even in the books! I don't know , maybe that's just me.

Don't know it... need to wait until tomorrow or Monday to find it out

Seems as though everyone is getting 265

I would like to hear how people are doing as well. Mines coming up soon!
