Hello all. Im a new grad with a serious problem with exploding pens. I thought that clorox in hot water would do the trick but I still have terrible ink marks on ALL my white tops and pants. Please...anyone got a wonder trick to remedy this even after I have washed them???
Thanks
Lol..Noirlincoln...I ws just teasing, Actually, after this post I did a load of laundry that had a sharpie in it!!! The pen stayed closed but when I opened it, ink dripped on my countertop ...I have tried everything but bleach, I guess that's my next move!I never had a problem with spoiled milk stains. Perhaps you would want to test the garment in an area that is not visible to see if a milk stain would appear.
well.... if you've washed and dried this may not work- but it has always worked for me on clothes i haven't thrown in the drier (even if i've already washed them, just not put in the drier). soak the spot with hair spray- and i mean old fashioned stuff like white rain. the less "super hold" or whatver the better.good for future reference even if it doesn't work on the already dried clothes. :)
I use good old fashion, cheap as they come hairspray as a prewash for almost everything. Ink, blood, coffee etc. Another trick I have had success with is using dawn dishwashing soap as prewash if I get grease on my clothes while cooking, Works great.
My two cents

Removal of pen marks and everything else is very simple
I take my uniform
And hand it to my wife
And it comes back clean and Ironed
Hows about that
