I sat for nclex rn on 3/11/16 and had 40 SATA questions. The computer shut off at 75 questions. I'm not in the states and have since not been able to check the results. Has anyone experienced that many SATA BEFORE?

As the the OP stated he or she is not in the states, this likely refers to 3 Nov as dd/mm/yy is a common date format in several areas outside of the USA.
Ahhhhh....I see.
Yea. Sorry. I sat for the nclex on 3rd November, 2016
I just found out the good news that I passed. I'm so happy.

You got 40 because you were probably killing it.

I second Akeem, it's probably a good sign.
If your test shuts off after 75 questions, that means you either passed with flying colors (as the questions became progressively harder) or failed miserably (as the questions became super-easy); meanwhile middle of the road people get all 265. It seems unlikely that you failed if you got 40 SATA, since those questions are notoriously challenging.
I passed in 75 questions, and by the end all of the questions were about specific, obscure cardiac drugs, lol.

I'm scheduled to take my exam on Dec. 7. any advice from you people would be greatly appreciated. Right now I have Pearson's comprehensive Review for NCLEX and a kaplan book that breaks down the test and has a couple comprehensive exams.
I will advice you to do a lot of practice questions and review the rationale. That's the secret.

omg I just tested today, feels like 75% of them were SATA, every 3-4 SATA for 1 multiple choice question, it stopped me at 75 and I'm stressed out as heck waiting for the result. Good thing that you passed! It's gonna be a hell-living 48 hours of my life starting tonight
