How to defeat the NCLEX- RN's SATA questions!!:(

Published

I graduated 6 yrs ago and had good jobs(not nursing). I'm a foreign educated nurse by the way. But my love for nursing is always there. So I decided to study and take it. I took it last May 30 and I failed. I was so discouraged and a little depressed. I just had too many SATAs..Any suggestions how to deal or overcome these questions? I hope there is a review center that will make you attend everyday for 3 months and have lectures and exams to help me refresh the concepts. My mind and heart is set to become an RN. :)

HI thanks for those who gave their advices here. I am planning to practice SATA questions. I already have the Saunders and NCLEX3500, any other resources you guys know where we can get SATA practice questions? also practice questions will enhance critical thinking? thanks a bunch! godbless

That book is great!! Helped me a lot

You know what? I can't think of very many situations in patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, or care that don't include many more than one answer. It's ALL "SATA." Consider that. Big picture, here, folks.

For you, which between the two,Lippincott or Davis?:)

I only had the Lippincots for alternate style Q&A. I also had PDA, Saunders (content), & exam cram Q&A books.

That is the same way I approached my questions. Also look for words like "only" "always" "never" "every". Usually if those are in the answer choice then that answer is more than likely wrong.
