How to deal with stress?

Published

I'm afraid of nursing school, who isn't? Well I got accepted to nursing school as long as I do well in the rest of my pre-reqs. I'm taking pre-reqs now.

I'm starting to get a little stressed for some reason. I'm pretty confident I'm going to do well in terms of grades. I just handed in an essay which i spent 10+ hours on and gotten proofread by a proffesor three times. I'm pretty sure that was an A paper (I did not get the grade yet.) This professor seems real anal and a nitpicker.

I'm afraid that if I'm already getting stressed after 3 weeks of school what's going to happen during nursing school????? Right now I am taking only 3 classes but also working part time. I will probably quit the job when I start nursing school.

My mind has started to wander during class. I usually do better when I go to class having already reading the chapter but I've been falling behind on reading working on the essay.

I'm pretty sure if I kept on working on things I will get all A's but for some reason I'm worried, stressed, feeling pressured. What do you guys think I should do? Maybe I should reward myself for working so hard on that essay???

Please let me know. thanks.
