How is the BSN entry level program at Nova Southeastern University?

Hey I'm new to this site, and was just curious how Nova's nursing program is. I just got accepted into the Fall 2010 nursing program at the main campus in Davie. Any advice on how it is? Did you feel prepared when you took your NCLEX after completing the 27 month program? Would love to hear from anybody. I'm so excited and cant wait to start in august! :)

i live in fort lauderdale by the beach so it takes me like 20 minutes to get out there to nova.. and yeah we can do it when you move up this wayy.. i know im going away august 20-23 so we can do before or after that! i was thinking of a place thats not to far for ppl to drive .. maybe somewhere around the school.. dont really know that area to well to know restuarants tho.. any suggestions??

Hey guys i think there is a Red Lobster and I believe and Chilis or something of that sort not too far from the school heading North on University. There is also the Broward Mall just in case we could meet up there and then find a place to head to afterwards. Just let me know what you all think so we can go ahead and set something up.

Just for future referencs I ordered 2 of the most important book off of Amazon.com and it came up to $191, that was the Human Physiology book and the Dimensional Analysis for Meds. I still have to get the other six books *sigh* there is so much to do lol. And by the way we don't need the stethoscope or anything else of that nature until the second semester. My friend is in the program now and she said that we just need to focus on books, scrubs and thats it because this is the toughest semester. Also just in case you dont like wearing the scrub tops there are nova nursing t-shirts at the bookstore for about 18 to 19 bucks and I was told we can mix and match that shirt with the scrub tops as well. And have we decided on when we want to meet up I think we definitely need to meet ASAP so we can get all of our questions answered!

Kk so how bout next Saturday the 14th to meet up at broward mall around 12 and we can go from there to pick out a place to eat.. let me kno if this works for u guys? Can't wait to meet u all :)

hi guys! I went to the bookstore yesterday to buy scrubs but was told I have to order them online. I was looking at the xs tops they have in the store and they seem sooo wide and short! I was wondering if the scrub tops we order online are the same ones they have in the store. Has anyone gotten their scrubs yet? If so, how do they fit?

I still need to get books and shoes -_-

Also, has anyone completed their background check? How long does it take?
