Hi guys i need your suggestions on this, my wife recently passed the recent board exam given by PRC last June2008, in this regard shes asking the step to take in going for an RN in British Columbia, Vancouver. What are the requirements so she can have her papers assessed.
Hi breech,Your inputs have been very helpful to us... Thank you...
I have one question... I am also from Davao and an ER trainee at DMC and here in our place I can't seem to find a bank that issues a bank draft in Canadian Currency... What are my options aside from a credit card?
If in the Philippines then this is what is stated on the Canadian embassy website for the Philippines
Fees must be paid by bank draft, certified cheque, manager's cheque, or postal money order payable to the "Canadian Embassy, Manila". Cheques can be issued by any local or international banks and post offices and should be valid for at least 6 months upon submission of your application. Fees can only be paid in Canadian Dollar and Philippine Peso currencies although it is advisable to pay in Canadian Dollar to avoid currency fluctuation. Cash payment is not accepted.

Thanks Silverdragon102.
I will try the post office then because I don't know of any banks here that will issue checks in Canadian funds. By the way, I was refering to Payment Form – International Nurse Applicants (form 49). Hope the same rule applies.
This is what I found on BC
Your completed Form 49, including your non-refundable fee. The fee must be paid in Canadian funds and can be
paid by credit card, money order or bank draft. Your application will not be assessed until the fee is paid in full.

hi!!!
i had my bank draft done by metrobank... my friend had his with BDO...
it took me a week before it was released...
I used my VISA debit card (Union Bank)
Really? Debit card? That is a relief. I have a debit card but its with BDO and yesterday I asked one of the employees regarding payment using my card and she said that it is not allowed but it has a mastercard logo on it. Might as well give it a try.
thank you
pvs17,
Is it a davao branch? if yes, where? thanks.
