Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.
I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.

Thanks I was contacted by a Recruiter, peer interview went ok but they weren’t nurses from the unit I interviewed for. I think my initial interview was what got me the job the two managers really liked me the energy was phenomenal it wasn’t just an interview we had a great conversation very reflective

Thanks for the info ! The peer review was confusing since it wasn’t someone from the unit. What time was your interview if you don’t mind me asking ? The way they put it made it seem like the managers already made their selections by noon.
Just now, morganmo said:if you didn't get an offer from MH if you look at your application it will say still under consideration or not. Mine changed to no longer, thought I'd pass that helpful info forward.
I did not do the online application part. I just went through the general GN residency program process

Im still waiting on Pearland Med-surg (same recruiter as SE I believe). But no rejection letter yet. She told us we will know today either way. Fingers crossed!
