Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.
I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.
Hey everyone! First, I want to congratulate those that have heard back from Match Day at TMC and for those that haven’t heard back, I’m rooting for you! I know that the wait is awful and I’m wishing you all the best. I interviewed Monday at Children’s MH and got a call from my recruiter Tuesday evening telling me that I matched. I was so excited that I didn’t ask anymore questions, I just thanked her and screamed. She told me that more information would follow soon. Does this mean I got a position? It’s been weighing on my mind. I’m not from anywhere near the Texas area so I’m very unfamiliar with how Match Day works.

I got a call from hermann tmc saying I got the job and that they’d be in contact later with a written offer. But haven’t heard anything since
