Houston Residencies Summer 2019!!

Published

Can you believe applications have started opening up? Anyway, just an early start for everyone to discuss.

I'm planning on applying to Harris Health, Memorial Hermann, Methodist, & TCH, and I will be applying to multiple locations for each. I'm trying to decide if I should branch out and apply at some places out of state or not since I want a very demanding specialty, but I'm not necessarily ready to uproot my family just for my residency. I'm open to suggestions or thoughts from others who have been through this part of the experience already.

It was kinda hard to hear her but what I got from it was that they were only planning on having 10 GN in the cohort but ended up with 60 or something along those lines

Thank you! 10, sounds like a very small amount for both LBJ and Ben Taub.

Anyone still waiting to hear from St. Luke's?

I’m still waiting for a call for good news or a rejection email from Children’s MH
