Houston Nursing Residency Summer 2025

Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early, but I am graduating in May 2025 and will be applying to Houston Nurse Residencies. I didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications haven't started in the next few weeks, so I just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc.? And any advice/insights/interview tips related to nursing residencies?

I just checked the actual application portal, it was for the Winter 2025 cohort!

If anyone was able to attend the virtual sessions for MH, what units are available at which locations?

From what I heard, they didn't say. They said the specific units/hospitals will be shown when we apply, which opens Feb 2nd.

has anyone gotten any interviews for HCA? I know they said to only apply once for the houston area.

Has anyone heard anything back from hospitals? I just went on all my apps and saw my Harris was reviewed.

I just applied for the Memorial Hermann program but my application went straight to "no longer under consideration".. has anyone else had this problem

you might have accidentally put 'No' for one of the screening questions. I would say make another email and apply again!

I applied to multiple methodist hospitals but they all still say application received except willowbrook says under review. has anyone had a status change for the other locations?

Willowbrook and the Woodlands both say application under review for me

I received a pre-screening appt for Methodist. The screening is tomorrow and I'm so nervous. Does anybody know what questions are asked during the pre-screening?
