Hiiiii everyone! I know this is a little early, but I am graduating in May 2025 and will be applying to Houston Nurse Residencies. I didn't see a forum for this 🙂 since applications haven't started in the next few weeks, so I just wanted to make this for more info! Does anyone know all the application opening dates for TCH, MH, Methodist, etc.? And any advice/insights/interview tips related to nursing residencies?

Has anyone with an ADN instead of BSN gotten an interview with Memorial Hermann?

They told me probably next week! They're interviewing this week and they'll meet up to decide at the end of the week/start of next week.

I can't speak for the other locations, but it was mostly personality questions there weren't any clinical questions but I'd still be prepared for like behavioral questions like tell me about a time this happened. But it went super fast. It didn't take the entire 30 minutes. But they mostly asked like why nursing why this location why this unit , typical questions like that, strengths and weaknesses etc. But remember to be confident, be yourself and that you got this and good luck!
