Houston Nurse Residency Winter/Spring 2024

Hi everyone! I will be graduating with my BSN this semester and I'm applying for residencies in the Houston area. I already applied to Houston Methodist but wanted to hear about other programs that might be interesting. Best of luck!

Do you know how the 1 hour interview is formatted? Like who we are interviewing with and if they've actually been taking the full hour?

Hey not completely sure but I heard they give you a tour and its like a panel interview with maybe 2 or 3 people asking questions

Okay that sounds pretty good. How have you been preparing? I feel like they'll ask some questions that I'm not prepped for and it'll turn out bad ?

I had an interview on Oct 2nd and heard back on the 6th that I was an alternate. They're currently contacting my 2nd choice to see if they want to interview me but if not, I will be given a list of the remaining units I can choose from.

Hey! Yea I received an email today that I was not extended an offer for 1st choice but was still being considered for my 2nd choice.
