Houston Nurse Residency Winter/Spring 2024

Hi everyone! I will be graduating with my BSN this semester and I'm applying for residencies in the Houston area. I already applied to Houston Methodist but wanted to hear about other programs that might be interesting. Best of luck!

has anyone not from houston heard from MH or TCH? curious if they prioritize houston residents with all the questions about doing clinicals there

I applied to both, tch Sunday (haven't heard back) and memorial hermann one day after they placed the applications up (heard nothing)

Thank you! Peds cvicu was my first choice. Can't remember if I chose PICU or NICU for 2nd choice though.

I heard from TCH last week Friday for an interview for NICU and I'm from out of state. I applied right when the application opened

I was told they were in the process of sending out emails and would reach out by Thursday morning if not sooner

I applied to MH the first day the application opened and I haven't heard back. I applied for CVICU and heart failure ICU. I imagine those specialities are highly competitive. 
 

I hate all the waiting LOL..

Did you apply in TMC? I applied to cypress and heard back last week. I think the TMC gets more applications, hopefully you hear something soon.
