I got an email on the 12th informing me that I will he contacted regarding scheduling a second interview, and then the rest of the email was a screening for COVID-19 since the second interview will be in the hospital setting. But I have not heard anything after that.

Every nurse I have talked to has said to be patient because they are dealing with all the COVID-19 situation but I hadn't heard anything at all so I was not very optimistic.

What unit and hospital did you interview for?

Specializes in Bachelor’s in Biology, Bachelor’s in Nursing.

Me too ? but so is my daughter currently in the mix for her 1st job here in Houston. She missed the window for some of the residency programs since she waited to apply til those results came thru (March 3) Curious how many are applying right now that are already licensed and wondering if that helps her chances

I’ve heard from nurses who work on floors that it helps a lot! They say that the nurse managers are more willing to hire a licensed nurse vs a non one because of the fact that they know you passed and they don’t have to worry about filling the spot if you don’t.
this is my first time applying with my license so I can’t speak from personal experience just what I’ve heard

I’m taking the NCLEX after I graduate, so early June hopefully!
